Our Delaware county school client is seeking a PA Certified School Psychologist (Psych-Ed Evaluations Only)- Newtown Square, PA.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
• Practical experience in conducting psychological assessments, counseling, and providing consultation in a school setting.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:

• Administer and interpret various psychological tests to assess students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and social functioning.
• Offer individual or group counseling to students dealing with mental health issues, behavioral problems, or emotional difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies and interventions for students with special needs or behavioral concerns.
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring that educational plans meet their psychological and emotional needs.
• Provide support during school crises, including identifying students at risk and helping to implement emergency plans for mental health crises.
