Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly growing organization dedicated to transforming senior living and skilled nursing care across the country. Currently, the company is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to join its Ohio-based team.

The Regional Nurse Consultant oversees nursing programs, compliance, quality assurance, and systems development to ensure clinical excellence across facilities in Columbus and Cleveland. This role works closely with the Director of Clinical Services to monitor, evaluate, and improve processes that drive patient outcomes, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing policies, procedures, and systems to meet all regulations.
• Lead quality assurance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct audits, mock surveys, and support facilities in survey preparation.
• Monitor clinical performance metrics, outcomes, and reimbursement levels.
• Provide education, training, and orientation for nursing staff.
• Ensure facilities remain “state ready” and compliant with Medicare/Medicaid.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, specialty programs, and care transitions.
• Represent the company in regulatory, clinical, and leadership meetings.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years as a Director of Nursing; regional experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and compliance expertise.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Proficiency in Point Click Care and Microsoft Office.
