• Case Mix: Inpatient Rehabilitation

• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: TBD
• Specialty Backup Available: Hospitalist on unit
• Support Staff Available: RNs, PT/OT, case management
• Reason for Coverage: Unexpected leave and anticipated future needs

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: TBD
• Credentialing Timeline: ASAP (goal within 1 week if candidate identified)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active VT license preferred
• Board: Board Certified in PM&R (American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with EMR (Epic)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide inpatient physiatry coverage for a 20-bed rehab unit.
• Manage patient care independently (no supervision required).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary support staff (hospitalist, RNs, PT/OT, case managers).
• Take call coverage during evenings around scheduled dates.
• Maintain flexibility for potential future coverage opportunities.
