**Cleanroom Operator** + This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. + Working under close supervision, the role involves a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. + The role requires spending 95% of the time working on a microscope. + The candidate must ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date. + Clear communication of ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management is essential, both in written and oral form. + The candidate must also maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers, follow safety guidelines, and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations. + Participation in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics is also required. Accurate record-keeping is crucial to ensure that traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products. + A basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing is necessary, and the candidate will participate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics to improve the quality of operations. + The candidate will also support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. **Additional Information:** + 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm + 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical device assemblies. + Ensure accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions. + Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management. + Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers. + Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations. + Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes. + Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate and all parts are traceable. + Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing. + Participate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics. + Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures. + Understand and follow verbal instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Entry-level candidates are welcome and will be trained on medical device manufacturing. **Why Work Here?** + This position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in medical device manufacturing, with comprehensive training provided. + The company values continuous improvement and quality, providing a supportive work environment where employees can grow and develop their skills. **Work Environment** + The role is based in a cleanroom environment with a strict dress code. Clothing must be non-shedding and free of frayed hems or loose threads. + Prohibited items include tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins, and any other items that could become dislodged. + Sweaters, loose fiber garments, and fleece are not allowed. + All clothing must be clean and free of visible contamination. + Clothing from the waist up must fit under the lab coat/gown, with no turtlenecks or high-necked clothing sticking out. + Caps, hats, scarves, or bandanas are not allowed under the bouffant, except for tightly woven fabric head wraps/scarves for customs. + Loose fitting clothing is prohibited around machinery or soldering/brazing torches. + Closed-toe shoes with no open heels or pointed heels higher than 2 inches must be worn at all times. + Nail polish, acrylic, artificial nails, or similar coatings are not allowed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
