Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer *6-Month Contract*
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to manage all aspects of pump projects, including engineering, procurement, quotations, manufacturing, and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality and implementing improvements.
Responsibilities
+ Manage pump projects from engineering to quality control.
+ Analyze problems, identify issues, and serve as a technical advisor to the Pump Services team.
+ Perform engineering principles and manage assigned projects.
+ Conduct analysis and design modifications to meet customer specifications.
+ Interact with customers, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality.
+ Prepare technical data, bills of material, and reports for reference material.
+ Establish and maintain layout, detail drawings, product material, and quality standards.
+ Recommend product design changes to reduce cost and improve quality.
+ Prepare manuals, charts, graphs, and presentations.
+ Resolve in-house product failures and production problems.
+ Serve on cost improvement teams to address in-house or field problems.
+ Maintain proficiency in current technology and integrate it with new designs.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
+ Proficiency in process improvement, CAD, and root cause analysis.
+ Experience in manufacturing engineering and process engineering.
+ Proven track record of line improvement, safety improvements, and new process development.
+ Documentation expertise and the ability to create fixtures, jigs, and safety improvements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
+ Experience in manufacturing process capability, process improvements, cost reduction, and quality.
+ Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to communicate professionally both within and outside the organization.
+ Strong organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines.
+ Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Experience in reading and understanding technical plans and specifications.
+ Strong team player and self-starter.
Work Environment
Work in a warehouse environment, family-oriented atmosphere and flexible hours, with Monday to Thursday shifts from 6 AM to 4:30 PM and remote work on Fridays. Be part of a company committed to providing clean water across the world.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $68.00/hr.
