Opportunity: Project manager- Architect Studio
Salary: $90-$115K Depending on Experience
Location: Chicago Central with easy transit

Our client is a unique small team of collaborators- where every member plays a key role in the firm’s success. They are seeking a driven architect to join a small, collaborative team. A minimum of 6 Years experience is required in an architectural practice.Experience in healthcare projects is an asset.

As Project Manager, you’ll lead project delivery—from contracts and financials to client satisfaction—while working closely with leadership, design teams, and consultants.

Project Management & Production

• Lead and assign project tasks, track financials, and ensure deadlines and deliverables align with scope and budget.
• Coordinate code, zoning, and regulatory reviews with the appropriate authorities.
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation and manage internal standards.

Client Interface

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, manage approvals and scope changes.
• Prepare and assist with monthly invoicing and collections.
• Support contract negotiations and ensure positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Business Development

• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients to encourage repeat business.
• Identify new project opportunities through existing networks.
• Represent the firm at professional events to strengthen brand visibility

Mentorship & Leadership

• Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to project team members.
• Support the technical and professional growth of junior staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and promote team development.

What You Bring
5+ years of experience in architecture project management.
Licensed or on the path to licensure.
Strong knowledge of codes, regulations, and construction documentation.
Proficiency in Revit required; Rhino, 3ds Max, and Adobe Suite are a plus.
Experience in healthcare, aviation, or municipal projects preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
