Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse – Day Shift
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Contract Type: 13 Weeks (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Rotating start times between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
Travel Rate: Up to $2,648.50 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Endoscopy Nurse for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care throughout all phases of endoscopic procedures.
Educate patients and families during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
Administer medications safely, including moderate sedation per hospital policy.
Monitor and manage patient pain, comfort, and vital signs during procedures.
Assist physicians with GI procedures including colonoscopies, biopsies, polypectomies, and esophageal dilations.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
Follow all safety, infection control, and patient restraint protocols.
Conduct pre- and post-procedure calls and coordinate discharge planning.
Maintain current certifications and demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
Exhibit professionalism, accountability, and compassionate patient care at all times.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN license (unrestricted).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications .
Moderate Sedation Certification required.
Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams.
2–3 years of recent Endoscopy experience required.
