MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF COLOR MATCHING OR MIXING EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking a focused and driven individual to fill an open Color-Matching Technician position at a bonding and sealer manufacturing company in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM. *Hours are not flexible*
Requirements for the Color Lab Technician:
- Must have at least 6 months of color matching or mixing experience
- Proficiency in using color measuring instruments
- Must pass a drug screen, background check, and E-Verify.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have steel-toe boots
- Must have good math and computer skills
- Prior experience in roles such as Lab Technician, Compounder, Textile Technician, and Color Matcher/ Technician is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Color Lab Technician:
- Weighing of all materials before blending. Materials include: pigment, sand, and additives specific to fog coat.
- Correctly stamp and date samples to minimize potential errors and offer immediate reference to customers preparing to order.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures for the purpose of remaining consistent in performance and minimizing the potential for errors
- Processes requests as assigned by the Samples Lab Supervisor.
- Maintains oven temperatures and water level on the SBMF oven.
- Maintains the wastewater drainage system and the dust collector.
- Communicates concerns or potential for delays to the supervisor and the department manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned at his/her supervisor’s discretion.
