Certified Medical Coder & Biller – Full-Time Remote Opportunity

A short term acute care hospital is seeking a   Medical Coder & Biller   for a remote opportunity.

Certified  Medical Coder & Biller Pay & Benefits:

• Pay:   Starting at $17/hour with certification
  
• Sign-On Bonus:  $2,500
  

Work Environment:

• Hybrid position if local, can be fully remote if candidate resides in   Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina or Florida
  
• For remote position — candidates must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection
  

Certified  Medical Coder & Biller Opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts
  
• Responsibilities: Accurately code and bill physician clinic and hospital claims for government and commercial insurance carriers. Assist with training team members and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  

Certified  Medical Coder & Biller Qualifications:

• Must have coding certification (CPC or CCS-P)
  
• Must have at least 3 years of insurance coding/billing experience
  
• Medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for physician billing, and familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, CHAMPUS, and other third-party payers
