We are seeking an Associate Director, Marketing - USA to join our Los Angeles team.

The Associate Director, Marketing - USA sits within the Campaigns team and is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a tailored year-round marketing strategy and plan, in line with the US country strategy.

You will develop and deliver a tailored year-round local marketing strategy and plan for the market, in line with Movember ’s strategic priorities and aligned to the Movember Campaign calendar, with key outputs being:

  • B2B - Build and execute the US go-to-market strategy that sees us taking our programs to corporates, key communities and funding partners.
  • B2C – Execute the year-round marketing efforts for our Movember community and build and deliver a year-round plan that drives mass awareness in the US, through strategic media partners, talent and PR.

For this role, you’ll need;

  • Deep B2C and B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience working with a global brand at a local level and within cross-functional teams, with numerous stakeholders and external partners/agencies.
  • Exceptional understanding of the full marketing mix, both theoretically and practically, strategy to execution, and across B2C and B2B
  • Strong commercial acumen and focus.
  • Data and insights driven, and practiced in the use of data and analytics to inform decision making and measuring media channel effectiveness
  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills - professional, with executive presence, and ability to successfully negotiate and influence at senior levels.
  • Strong team management experience – delivering high performance and acting as a mentor to the team.

GOOD CAUSE:
Working for Movember , you’ll help raise millions for men’s health (not for a CEO’s bonus). And all those dollars do a whole lotta good. We’ve funded cancer research. Created lifesaving medicines. And helped make cancer treatments less “one-size-fits-all”, and more specific to each patient’s needs.

We’re even calling for governments worldwide to get it together on men’s health. By meeting directly with policymakers so they change the systems that change men’s health.

GOOD VIBES: The vibes aren’t just for Fridays – even though we start weekends early nine months of the year. Here, it always feels like something big’s about to happen. Be it an office-wide surprise birthday party (with cake!) or an impromptu all-staff boogie.

Come the hairy season, the energy gets silly. We’re talking celebrity visits. Live stunts on-site for TV and radio. And when we hit a fundraising milestone, the office gong might even go off. And that means one thing: it’s conga time.

GOOD CREW:
Let’s just get this out of the way: big egos need not apply. We’re all about straight-up solid human beings out to do meaningful work. People who’ll help you reach career-best moments. And give you the freedom to get there the best way you see fit.

Hybrid remote working is the norm. And in the office, you can sit where you please. Who knows? On any given day you could even end up desk buddies with the man who started this all.

We offer:

  • Health insurance, vision, dental benefits and 401k
  • Free Headspace subscription and Employee Assistance Program
  • 20 vacation days per year
  • Relaxed dress code
  • Fun and collaborative culture
  • Free breakfast & coffee bar

Boy, do we know the feeling of being judged. (Over how we look, and other things that shouldn’t matter.) Being different is how we started. And it’s also helped us raise $1 billion for men’s health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.

Do you want to DO GOOD?
If so, we’d love to hear from you.
