This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Creative Project Management Associate is responsible for directing the workflow and coordinating the creative development of projects and campaigns submitted to the in-house team, including the creation of print collateral, digital content, web, product branding, video and events. Analyze creative requests and proactively plan, create and manage all project deadlines, ensuring assets are delivered to the desired quality, specifications, budget and timing outlined by the Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Operational account teams. Projects are typically top priority, high profile, and revenue driving initiatives for the organization and thus require continuous communication and interaction with the creative team, account teams, and executive leadership to ensure all campaigns meet expectations and hit on the set forth KPIs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with Marketing, Sales, Product Development and Operational account teams to understand project request, gather requirements, clarify strategic objectives, deliverables and delivery dates, plan resources (both internal and external freelancers) and develop a clear and actionable project plan
  • Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day projects and address any roadblocks encountered in difficult and time sensitive situations. Facilitate meetings between teams, and ensure the creative team receives clear direction throughout the project
  • Manage creative team members’ daily workload and priorities
  • Possess knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and ownership/management of our QA processes
  • Day-to-day point-of-contact for all project related tasks, proactively setting and managing account teams’ expectations on an ongoing basis throughout a project until final delivery 
  • Build strong working relationships with the creative team and account team members, establishing a role as a trusted resource and advisor
  • Learn and understand respective account teams’ business areas and partner with them to achieve their KPIs
  • Keep Creative Operation Manager informed of day-to-day priorities and any issues
  • Evaluate and update internal Project Management tool to reflect shifting workload and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field experience
  • Experience with print/media/digital required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced traditional agency or in-house environment managing multiple creative projects simultaneously, with a proven ability to use analytical, innovative and critical thinking to deliver major projects on time and on budget
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of Creative Suite a plus
  • Able to provide recommendations for streamlining processes and systems based on previous experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of required asset type and specifications of creative deliverables
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills a must. Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with multi-channel environment: print, digital, presentation, video, content management
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required
  • Basic knowledge of Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to plan and create project timelines
  • Experience working with Filemaker Pro, Wrike or other project management tools
